Hamza Namira To Raise Funds For Aid In Egypt
Renowned nasheed artist Hamza Namira will be raising money for lifesaving medical aid in Egypt through the Human Appeal International (HAI) charity.
After the Revolution of 25th January 2011, Egypt has undergone transformation and development. HAI will be aiming to assist in enhancing medical training of professionals that will save many lives and eliminate inadequate treatment.
To help, Hamza will be headlining in London and Birmingham with special guests including Syrian singer and Quran recitor Yahya Hawwa and Shaykh Rajab Zaki.
His career kicked off in 2007 when he signed with Awakening Records, the record label that launched the careers of Sami Yusuf, Mesut Kurtis and Maher Zain among many others.
Hamza’s debut album “Ehlam Ma’aya” (Dream With Me) was a hit when it released in 2009 and reached the Top 10 list in the Virgin Megastore, remaining there for many weeks.
“Insan” (Human) is his latest album, which was released in 2011.
Hamza has contributed to many worthy national campaigns and causes including an anti-smoking campaign named “Life Without Smoking” and he also helped teach music to disabled children.
