Radio Takbeer To Launch In High Wycombe
Radio Takbeer will be launching once again during the month of Rabi’ al-awwal, the third month in the Islamic calendar when many Muslims celebrate Mawlid – the birthday of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH).
Broadcasting 24 hours a day, Radio Takbeer will be hosting a variety of special Islamic-orientated programmes also including Quran recitation, adhans, naats and nasheeds. It will also broadcast special shows for women and children.
Confirmed guests for this year include Ahmad Hussain, Milad Raza Qadri, Javeria Saleem (Pakistan), Qari Idrees Rajab (South Africa), Waleed Bata (South Africa) and Preacher Moss (USA). Scholars include Imam Khalid Hussain, Imam Asim Hussain and Shaykh Esa Henderson.
Radio Takbeer also promotes local talent, giving local naat reciters and scholars the opportunity to feature as guests on shows.
The station successfully ran last year in 2012, and hosted a variety of unique programmes, nasheed shows and interviews with special guests including Irfan Makki, Kamal Uddin, Ashiq al Rasool, Shaam and Milad Raza Qadri.
Radio Takbeer will be on air from 12th January 2013 to 8th February 2013.
