Pictures: Palestinians Celebrate UN Victory

The United Nations General Assembly voted to recognise Palestine as an “observer state,” a largely symbolic upgrade in status. The 193-member General Assembly voted 138-9, with 41 abstentions.

Palestinians, along with many other people around the world, celebrated their victory.
